Good morning and how are you today?
It's another cloudy morning here in Scotland with the everlasting hope that it will brighten up later!
I'm just waiting for my youngest boy to wake up, I think he might be turning into a teenager a little early. He wants to walk with the dog and I this morning, I'm ready and the dog has her legs crossed.
I wonder how long we shall be waiting?
Whilst blog commenting yesterday I came across this challenge at CAS on Sunday, using sequins on a clean and simple card. Mmmm I like the sound of that one so I "set to" with an idea.
I couldn't decide which arrangement of sequins I prefered, in typical Gemini style I made two.
The die and sentiment are by Papertrey ink Rainy day sentiments and Blue skies. I love the sentiment, "Don't ever let anyone rain on your parade."
I created a shaker card using glass pieces behind the cloud and sequins as the rain, both also from Papertrey ink.
The little one and I enjoyed our film yesterday The Legend of Tarzan, his favourite bit was where a man gets taken by the crocodiles, my favourite bit was Alexander in just his short longs! ;)
On the cards for today, I have to pop to work at some point and then it will be a juggling act between finding something to do with my youngest, housework and crafting. I know which one of those I'd like to be doing.
Enjoy your hump day!
More from me tomorrow.

Two lovely CAS style cards Erika, you certainly have the talent for them.
Glad you enjoyed the film, I didn't realise that it was him playing Tarzan, had a look after your post yesterday at some snippets online from the film and he certainly looks good in a loin cloth.
Hope you manage to get some crafty time.

Hi Erika,
2 wonderful design cards, and such a very good idea for the design.
Thank you this has given me an idea for a card.
Hope your juggling works out okay.
Poor little doggy with his legs crossed. LOL.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
Brilliant cards Erika, love your simple design, Kate x
I have sat here deliberating for 5mins as to which one is my favourite. First one eye shut then the other. Gone all dizzy now and still can't make up my mind!! Hope the dog got his walkies or at least to spend a penny. hugs Mrs A.
I like how you used the seed beads in the clouds and the sequins for the rain...clever design! Thanks for sharing at CAS on Sunday!
These are fab, I can't decide between the two either! Hope you got your walk before your dog burst! Cara x
