Less is more!

Hello it's me again and today it is Grand National day, have you got a horse?
It is a tradition to have a wee flutter on Grand National day so we have all picked a horse each and fingers crossed for 4.15 p.m. when the race is does make the race more interesting.  I have gone for "Shakalakaboom"  just 'cause I like the sound of the name and nothing more, it certainly rolls off the tongue.  Hubby has gone for to have the sea connection!  The kids have gone for Arbor Supreme and West End Rocker, picked just like their mum...."I like that name!"  But will any of us win?

On to a wee bit of crafting for you.
I have made this Thinking of you card for a family member who is having a tough time just now.
The less is more theme has been grabbed head on...I do like the less fussy approach just as much as the layered look and tend to just go with my mood.
Anyway enough waffle here's the card;

The stamp is PI Marion Emberson "On your special day" and the sentiment was printed on the computer.  I have used Distress ink evergreen bough, pearls and satin ribbon from my stash.
Simple and to the point!
Plus it means I might get to do a bit more on my wee house that I showed you on Wednesday!

Have a great weekend.
