What's on your work desk this Wednesday 175

Hi, bit late this morning sharing the contents of my work desk with fella crafters.
Why is it when other family members are on holiday you find yourself running around in ever decreasing circles achieving nothing?  I switched the computer on at 8 and this is me just getting here.  Guess I should just put my feet up and let things go on around me and chillaxe!

Yesterday I was making a card for my Dads birthday this coming weekend.  I always do a biker card so this time I thought I'd do something a little different.  Tracy one of my pals from the crop gave me a sheet of Paper Nation decoupage back in the summer.  It is not normally something I use but I did like this one as we have a caravan, my parents also have a motor home and we sometimes meet up for some family time.  Hence this card.  I've just got to finish sticking it together.

On the left there is also a box of dies that another lovely crafty friend Irene has given me as she is finding herself doing more material based projects just now and no cards.  I've still got to come up with something to say thank you with so any suggestions would be gratefully received.

So what am I up to today, I have a couple more birthdays coming up to crack on with then more housework and ironing to finish.  Yippee!
Have a super Wednesday and don't forget to pop by the lovely Julia's blog to catch up with other like minded crafters.  It only remains for me to say thanks for the visit, and as Arnold would say "I'll be back" later to have a hop around.
I thought I'd leave you with this....a good friend Jan sent it to me a few weeks ago and it did make me giggle......

Thanks for the giggle this week, Erika. I love that card. We have a caravan too, great for holidays with the dogs. As far as my "tidy" desk is concerned, I have been trying very hard this week to tidy up at the end of each project to give myself room to actually craft. I do have to leave something in place, though, to encourage me to get going the next day. Have a good week. xx Maggie #88

That was a nice giggle, esp the last bit about the survivors.

For the friend who gave you the dies, I'd make something that was cut using the dies.

Cute card. I am sure your dad will love it. I think I need some to take some of those classes. LOL
Maybe they should add this one:
The dishwasher is only 12 inches from where you sat that dish. Complete with diagrams,

I need to sign up for a couple of the classes listed. Need insight into some of the issues! Really like your desk and the card in the works. Wish I had a friend getting rid of her dies! I usually just make a card with some of what I was given and maybe some chocolates. Yummy! Have a great week. Vickie #41

I think I need to sign up for class #6 AND sign up my hubby. The desk is looking good. I like the idea of a non-bike card this year. You know, keep him on his toes. Besides, the caravan looks really neat.

Very funny classes, know a few people who could benefit from them, no not me, lol!! Wonderful stack of dies, lucky person! I think any kind of a nice thank you card would work, I wouldn't use the dies you've been given as she might want them back is she sees how nice they look!!
