It's getting hot in here, fire, fire, fire!

Good morning and how are you this sunny Monday morning?
I hope you had a good weekend.

I didn't have a great day at work on Saturday, combination of lots of things going on at the moment and lack of sleep made for a very grumpy work colleague.  I did however have a very productive day yesterday getting all my housework done apart from the boys rooms and my craft room.  Most unlike me, there must be something going on!
There is.  My parents arrived yesterday evening, thought I best have the place looking shipshape plus I also made a banana loaf cake, so nice smells too.

Did you watch Strictly?  I think this year is going to be great.  Lots of good characters on it and great pairing with their professional partners.  Can't wait for it to start now.
Plus we were spoilt with the return of Poldark although I thought last night was a little slow, guess they've got to set the scene for the rest of the series.

I'm into work later, today is my day to clean, yippee.  Whilst I am busy I thought I'd leave you with this card.  One of my work colleagues asked if I could do a card for a little boy who is celebrating his first birthday, apparently he is mad about Fireman Sam.

Fireman Sam has been coloured using Copic markers and the large one was cut on my Cricut.
CAS all the way at the moment.

After my busy short shift at work I have an appointment with either my ironing or I might just finally thread my new machine which is sat patiently on my dining room table waiting for me to pluck up the courage to play.
Enjoy your Monday and catch you again tomorrow.

A super card for this young lad.
Enjoyed Strictly too but Poldark was more enjoyable :) Lot's of lovely upper body shots but I agree this first episode was rather drawn out.

Hi Erika, attempting to catch up after our holiday, brilliant card, super image and design, I'm sure the little one will love it.
Didn't do Poldark, loved the original too much, but been watching Victoria, on at the same time, as they do, love the gorgeous Rufus, can't remember his last name, and the costumes are sumptuous, Kate x
