WOYWW 183....production line time!

"It's beginning to feel a lot like Christmas!"  La, la, la, la, la!
It's hump day again and my desk is a production line of Christmas cards today.  I started yesterday but it will be a couple of days work.
As I leave it late in the day I always product one style of card for most then just making special cards for close friends and family.  All I'm missing is a mince pie and some seasonal tunes.
Half way through...not much longer to go.  I might have a break as I have a couple of teachers gifts to make for the weekend too.  What to do this year?!

So on my desk we have the card, I tend to just print a bit of the years news on my cards with a couple of recent photos of the kids, the toppers, the finished pile and envelopes, I'm writing them too as I'm going along.
I have used the snowflake embossing folder by SU, how naughty am I but LIM!  I do like simple cards when mass producing.

Today I have a Christmas lunch at work so I better try and get a few more cards made before heading on in.
Find more crafty fun by visiting Julia's blog our amazing host for What's on your work desk this Wednesday.  It only remains for me to thank you for your visit, I shall be wandering later in the day don't forget if you leave me a comment I'll be back to visit you first, well, it would be rude not to!
Have a great day and happy crafting.

LIM is definitely the way to go if you've got to produce lots of cards... no shame in that!! Happy WOYWW!

Hi Erika, I am goin to have to get a list of all the abreviations you use ie LIM, LIS ect but its lovely reading your comments anyway.Your production line is a good idea, how organised, I love all the hints and tips from crafter, they are making my life a lot easier.

Enjoy your lunch, not too much wine, if its allowed.

Your cards may be simple, but that doesn't stop them being gorgeous. I love simple cards; they're so elegant. Just beautiful.

I think I have become ADD this year. I used to do the same thing with Christmas cards, but now I am all ove the place and that puts everything in the "behind" mode. Love the look of your cards.

Very clever of you to do a LIM card for Christmas - now why didn't I think of that! Love the white against the lovely blue. Glad to hear from your latest post that the lunch went well, not so good though being asked to do some work....... thanks for your visit too. Happy WOYWW, Anne x #49

Very efficient to have a Christmas production line! Your desk certainly looks creative and industrious.

Many thanks for your visit and your comment - and how amazing that you have also inherited military buttons from your grandfather! I've had mine for so many years, and it's really lovely to be able to use even just one now. Since I've discovered album making, I can see all sorts of things that will see the light of day and be appreciated properly. I agree that this is going to be a great keepsake and possibly an heirloom too! I am enjoying doing it so much, and had no idea albums could be so much fun.

Happy belated WOYWW,

Hi Erika,

Production lines are so orderly. Love that bluish paper.

So, what exactly is in mince pie? It sounds interesting!!!

Happy WOYWW

Sounds like you had a busy day yesterday, especially with the snow making travel difficult. Love that snowflake embossing folder, I have that on order from SU. Hope the card writing marathon is over!
