Yes under that mess is a desk!
I have been very brave or stupid today in showing you my desk before I've tidied up. Yesterday I was making a couple of cards for myself, last minute as usual and then I've been out in the evening and again this morning. I just haven't had chance to have a wee tidy, so you are seeing me warts and all today! Plus the weather has been fab so I've been out down the beach with my boys enjoying the sunshine and fresh air.

Love this view Erika, almost as much as I'm jealous that you can access a beach so easily! Now what I need to know is this - is that stuff to be going away, or have you got it out to use in a fit of inspiration?!

Thanks for your comment - glad you like my recycling efforts. I'm thinking of doing some blog posts about this - it's a good challenge to us all to create objects of beauty out of what most people would consign to the bin without a second thought.

I promise to show a messy desk soon.
Usually mine is tidy cuz my neighbour comes over to scrap that night and so i have tidied in her honour.
I have a huge counter, so I also can sweep it all over to the right and it doesn't show in my pictures. Unfortunately, that is where she has to sit...so I do then have to clean it up.
I like it tidy and organized too, but life and creativity gets in the way.

Messy desks are fun! It means they are being used :)
Although I am an obsessive compulsive scrapper and love things neat. So it looks like I never get anything done :)

I think 99.9% of us have had our desk look like that from time to time. It means lots of fun things were created and we had a great time but we've moved on to something else now (the beach sounds divine).
Aaaarrrgghhhh! Runs away screaming! Beautiful wedding card and really cute baby card too, but oh lord, that desk!!! I'm going to the beach while you tidy it up!!!
