Thought I'd show you a charm bracelet that I have made for my friend Karen.  I made one for her ages ago when I first started making charm bracelets and saw her wearing it recently and said...."that needs more charms"...so it has been re-jigged....I hope she likes it more than the previous attempt.

So thought I'd share my quick card I made for my dad on Father's day.  I again have used my Harley papers but the piggy stamp is from Inkadinkadoo and coloured with my copics.  The dies are cut with my nestibilities.
I was so busy catching up with work last week that I'd not remembered Father's day till Friday....why does that always happen?  Or is it just me?
Every year I know it's coming and it still catches me out.

Back again and I think summer has finally arrived....it's hot, hot, hot!
For this card I was asked to make a good luck biker card for the owners of the new Harley shop down in Newcastle.
I have used Harley papers by EK Success, the stamp is by Stamps Happen and is "Cruising" coloured with my copics.  I have added chain and embellishments which I picked up on line.

At my children's school this week it is "health and fitness" week and the kids have loads of different activities to do.  Today and yesterday I was in teaching 4 classes P1 through to P3 and a P1/2/3.  I had a great time and we made a beach hut card, the boys made in yellow and blue the girls in purple and pink.  We also coloured a card with the beach picture from Funky kits, thanks Karen for allowing me to use the image....the kids had a great time getting all creative and sticky.  I'm not sure the cleaners at school will be so happy!
Here is the boys card.

One of the little boys mentioned he was going to enter his card into the Hopeman Craft competition that runs during Gala week in the village....it could be interesting if they all do, lol 87 beach huts to choose from!!  Good luck to the judges.

And finally a couple of  "manly" cards with Father's day in mind.  Again I have used my nestabilites label 1 and 8 and Kay & Co papers from Sea Glass.  The stickers were also Kay & CO Sea Glass grand adhesions and adhesive chipboard.  The punch was from Martha Stewart and is Deco edge, punch around the page.
I'd like to say a big thanks to my pal Leigh over on UKS for instructions on making the split card....the second was is my own take on other split cards also doing the rounds just now.

So that's all my demo creations for now folk, something completely different for you tomorrow!

Good morning fella crafter's....where is our summer?!
Still on a good note I don't feel guilty about staying in and crafting, woop, woop!
The above card is another from the weekend and has been made with AC textured card and Sea Glass by Kay and Co.  I have made a frame using my circle and scalloped nestibilites and the board behind is made using  a Martha Stewart edger punch string lace.  The leaves are from Petaloo and have been coloured using Dew drops versa magic chalk inks Aspen mist and Sage.  Then finally the two stamp sets I have used are from Personal Impressions sets "Mix and match" and "Thank you owl".  The owl was coloured using my copics and finished with Ranger glossy accents.

Right now that's all written up I'm away to hide in my craft room before the kids finish school, got a couple of biker cards to make.....best dig out my Harley biker papers again.
Happy crafting xxx.

On to the next couple of cards.  With these I have used Personal Impressions stamps Vanillia wanTED and Build a flower with love.
The card stock is AC textured card and white card to stamp on.
For the bear card I have cut from nestibilites labels eight and my copics to colour, the greeting is also with the stamp pack, the gingham paper is from the K & Co Sea Glass pad and the gingham ribbon from my stock, the bear is finally finished off with some ranger glossy accents.
The flower card has been inked using Versa magic dew drop chalk ink in Pixie dust, Pink petunia and Thatched straw.  The "with love" stamp has been embossed using pewter shimmer as has the button, which is then threaded with white shear ribbon.  The corners of the background have also been given the Martha Stewart treatment with the corner daisy punch with a bit of added bling.

Today I have mostly been catching up with some local orders which have gone by the wayside of late....could do with this week to get on top of it all....then I will maybe get chance to play some more!

On to my second batch of wedding samples.

I have also used the Kay and Co Elegance Speciality Mat Pad together with black and off beige American Craft cardstock.  The Spellbinder nestabilities I have used is labels 8 and Shapeabilies fancy tags, which are stunning.  The centre labels are also Kay and Co Elegance words grand adhesions apart from the small name plate as the name was printed on the computer and that nestability was labels 1 folded in half.
Now other than some bling my only other piece of kit was the Martha Stewart punch arched lattice.
I am really happy with the end result of these cards and may have to use this again for a couple of Weddings I have coming up.
I think Nestabilities 1 and 8 are my absolute favourities just now.....and who could not love Martha Stewart punches?  :-)

So as I promised here is the first of the cards for my demo today.
Before I start I would like to thank all the lovely ladies over in Inverness for a really enjoyable day crafting, hope you all enjoyed it as much as I did.  Oh and I am now relaxing with a nice glass of red!

Now onto the above cards and candle favour.
The papers I have used are white and grey American crafts textured card and Kay and Co Elegance Speciality Mat pad.  The lace boarder, strip, leaves and candle surround were made using Spellbinder borderabilites Classic lace boarder (Grand 12").  The surround on the large card was made scoring the lace to follow the pattern and then folded alternate ways....this so reminded me of making paper fans as a child....flashback moment, lol.  The lace surround on the square card just holds the card together but slips off to reveal the wedding details inside the card.
The ovals have been cut with nestabilities petite ovals small and the flowers with the peony nestabilities, finished with a white brad and silver bead spacer.
The ovals were decorated with K & Co Elegance words Grand adhesions and rub-ons from Elegance Swirls rub-ons with gems.  Finished with a couple of small pearls.
The candle had white grosgrain around the lace and then finished with a smaller version of the peony flower.

More for you tomorrow.

So I promised you a wee "lookie" of what I would be demonstrating this Saturday.  This is just 3 of my wedding cards (the initial ideas was placed in my head reading an Annie's Attic magazine but I have given it my own twist), I have also done a couple of general cards and a couple of Father's day too.  Now I'm not giving too much away but it would be lovely to see you tomorrow at Howden's in Inverness between 10 and 4 p.m if you are able and live local.
I will show you more pictures next week detailing the items and papers I used, till then I'm going to keep you in "suspenders!"  LOL
I hope you all have an enjoyable weekend and whatever you are up to don't forget to include a little crafting!
It would be rude not too.  :-)

Firstly I want to say thank you to all the lovely ladies who turned up to Papercraft's in Elgin today, I had a great day.

Now onto my mum's birthday card.....guess what guys....it's Harley themed....isn't that a shock!  Nope guess not.  I decided to make her the handbag card that we did today in Elgin but with a twist....a biker girl twist, lol.

All the papers are from the Harley Davidson range by EK Success, ink from Tim Holtz distress Black soot, nestabilities are labels 1 and 8, swirls are a die by sizzix flowers and vines 2, Martha Stewart punch lattice, SU flower punches, embellishments and ribbon are from my stash.
I wasn't sure when I started this project to whether it would work being non girlie but was happy with the finished article.....let's hope mum likes it when she opens it too.

Up here in Sunny Scotland the weather has been fantastic over the last few days.....long may it continue as it means that summer is here at long last.
I have my glass of wine in hand and am looking forwards to seeing who is going to win "Britain's got Talent!"
A Saturday night in with my boys, the high life....but there is no where else I'd rather be.
