Patchwork but with a little biker style!

Good afternoon, how are you doing today?
You'll be pleased to hear that my wee one is on the mend, sports drink and toast have stayed down and he is starting to look a little brighter.  Thanks for all your concerned comments.  x

Today I intend on tackling some of the bespoke cards that I should have been doing last week.  I don't know what is wrong with me just now but I have a real battle on my hands to actually sit down and make cards.  My head seems to be in Christmas present making mode!
I always have a mad panic at this time of year, I'll make this for one person and that for another and fuss about usually ending up achieving very little.  If only I followed what a lot of other bloggers do and start making the dreaded Christmas cards and presents from January then throughout the year.  I don't!
Every year I think to myself, next year I am going to get organised earlier and every year I get worse. I don't know why I feel the need to try and make so many cards and presents as the only one laying on the pressure is myself.
Please tell me others do this and I'm not the only one who thinks the perfect Christmas must be homemade?
We maybe getting visitors this year too so I really need to get organised especially as work is only going to get busier too.  Panic!  Not quite yet, but calmly simmering, shall we say?!

On that note I finally got my quilting material through from the states to make a certain something for a certain someone (it was to be a birthday present but didn't arrive in time so guess it will now be a Christmas one.....if I can get motivated!)  I am not going to say anymore just incase the person in question reads this, but I don't think that will happen.
Here is the material, if you are a regular reader I am sure you will know straight away who it is for.

You've guessed, haven't you?

Isn't it fab and even cut ready.  I don't know about you but I love the traditional style of quilting with squares.  Don't get me wrong some of these fancy quilts folk make are truly stunning but well beyond my level of ability just now.  I shall be sticking with traditional till such time I can manage a class or two, probably after Christmas now.

Enjoy your Wednesday guys, I must go and check on my wee man and then get motivated into card mode.  Take care and more from me tomorrow.  x

Erika, glad wee man is on the mend. Your fabric is fantastic cant wait to see it when you are finished making it up. I too would like a housekeeper, the only down side is like at work you can't find things as the cleaner/ housekeeper has put it some where, I am good at doing that my self. Hope you get some crafting time. Hazel xx
