Anyone for cricket?

Good morning folks, sorry for the absence.  I'm working four days a week now and hubby is away on a course so lots to do and not enough time to do it in.  I also have my parents up visiting so it has been nice just to spend a couple of days whilst off chilling out with them.
No time to craft!  Boo.
I've also got the joys of a head cold which my youngest child has shared, sniff, sniff.  So very kind of him to share!

On the cards today I must do some dreaded ironing, yes as usual the pile has hit rope and crampon style again, how does it do that?  Something to look forwards to later today, least it is raining and not beautiful sunshine.

On to today's card for you and this was another card made for a friend at work who asked for a male birthday card with the theme beer and cricket.

I think I've covered the brief.  The ball, cricket bat and stumps are coloured with copic markers and the beer glass is a stamp by Hobby art.  I have used some textured material for the grass and layered on matching card stock.  The ball and beer top also have glossy accents on although in this photograph it is not apparent.

That's all from me today, my mountain awaits.  Back tomorrow with an oldie.

Summer colds always seem so miserable. Hope you both soon well again. Glad you had a good time with your parents. We got home from a short holiday a few hours ago so just having a quick catch up and the second lot of washing is in. Your card is a lovely male card. I'm sure it will be just what they wanted.
