Whoops Scotty!

Hi folks sorry for this late post today but I've had a busy day and have just found the time to sit and update my blog.  I know that a couple of ladies from the weekend have been waiting for this instructions, better late than never!
Here is my Scotty dog calendar....

For this card I have used Sizzix die Scotty dog with red felt, Spellbinder dies Romantic rectangles and Long classic scalloped rectangles, stamps by PI Crafty Impressions, Red Core'dinations cardstock, Kraft and embellishments from my stash.

The instructions to make a similar card are here however I have used different measurements.  My card is 20 cms square (you will need 2 of them) and it is scored both sides and the top 2 cms in from the edge.  From the top I have scored at the 13.5, 12, 7 and 2 cm points.  I have cut across each side and the bottom at the 13.5 cm point.  For the inside flap my measurements are slightly bigger than the opening at the front so it is 13.5 x 18 cms.  This flap is attached on the rear of the front square across the flap from 13.5 to 12 cm point only so when you pull the internal flap it raises the top...if you watch the above instructions you will get the idea I've just changed the sizes.  Once this flap is added you can place the back square on remembering not to stick the inner flap down.  Your card is then ready for decorating.
Remember the you only add the frame that will be popping up to the second scored area of your card or it won't pop up.
I love these cards as they're flat to post but pop up and are interactive....kids love them.

Have a super weekend.  x
Back tomorrow with more for you.
