Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow....Spellbinder style!

Hi folks and it is Sunday again, rugby morning!  I'll be diving out soon.

I'd like to start today's post by sending out a big THANK YOU all the lovely ladies who came to Papercraft's Boutique yesterday for my classes.  I had a super day and hope you enjoyed it too.
I really appreciate all your kind words of support, it really does mean a lot to me......hugs back.  x

Now on to more samples and today we are using the Spellbinder dies as stencils after embossing....that's right...bypass the cutting phase to create great backgrounds.

For this card I have used Spellbinder die Create a flake 4 which I have embossed direct on to Kraft, leave the dies on the card and dab embossing ink in between the dies like a stencil.  Remove the dies carefully and sprinkle with Hologram Super Sparkle embossing powder, heat set.  Mat and layer onto card and add bling and sentiment (PI stamp Crafty Impressions using white embossing powder).
As Alexander would say...."simples!"
With this technique the glitter stays on the page and you don't wait for it to dry as with glitter glues.

I'll be back again tomorrow with more.

After rugby I shall be cutting out my class for next Saturday in the Papeterie Aberdeen...I shall be there demonstrating in the morning with the new Christmas Spellbinders and then doing two different Spellbinder classes in the afternoon....also Christmas based.

Great card Erika, love how you've embossed the snowflakes and added the sparkle. I never think of embossing like this instead of cutting out. Must give this technique a try. Thanks for sharing.
