How about a little more sparkle in your life?

Good afternoon and how are you today?
Very cloudy here in the North of Scotland but it's not raining!
Yes, you heard me correctly, it's stopped raining.  :)

Today I have another card using the lovely masks and sparkle by Imagination craft.

I have used the thistle mask together with Amethyst and Sage Green Sparkle medium.  The sentiment is by Hero arts and I have mounted on purple then white cardstock.  Another clean and simple card.

I managed to clear my ironing mountain yesterday with the help of a couple of films to watch in the process.  I always find having something interesting to watch always makes the time pass much quicker.
The plan this holiday was to start work in the loft and my son's bedroom with a view to decorate it but I have found the draw of my craft room too great!  Whoops.  I still have a couple of days left to start the whole process but the loft is such a massive job I really don't want to go there.  With the added bonus I don't know what else I will find there.
Maybe if I just do a few boxes at a time it won't seem so bad?
#The jobs you wish you never started.
At least when tidying the craft room I find nice things!
Wish me luck.

Enjoy the rest of your Thursday I'm afraid it's short and sweet from me today?

The sparkle paste is just perfect for the thistles, love it. Ignore the decorating and craft instead, well that's what I'd do! You deserve a treat after conquering the ironing. Cara x

Thanks for the lovely comments and well wishes Erika, I seem to have missed quite a few of your posts too now that I look back. Time has just whizzed by lately spreading myself between family, Mum, card orders and DT commitments, then getting this cancellation appointment for my wisdom teeth I seem to have lost at least a week!
Not feeling too good today, a bit fuzzy in the head, I was better yesterday and think I did too much, that will teach me to take it easy. Glad the job is over with though as when Mum gets the go ahead for her hip operation any time now I will be able to take care of her.
Lots of gorgeous clean and simple style cards since I last visited, you really do have the knack of this style and some great funnies on the Saturday post too - I especially relate to the middle one :)
Glad you have some respite from the rain today, we've had proper April showers, heavy one minute and brilliant sunshine the next.
Thanks again and take care,
Lorraine

Hi Erika, we have had downpours all day, horrible weather really.
I love your card, now I have this stencil but not used it yet. I think your simple design is just perfect.
Pleased you've got your ironing under control, I find I have hardly any now that I'm not at work, great, have a good evening, Kate x

Well if you watched two films whilst doing your ironing it must have been a big pile so I think you're due a bit of playtime before tackling the loft.

Thankfully we don't have one in our cottage as it's been turned into a bedroom but it was certainly a big job clearing out the loft in our last house when we were moving here.

Your card is very pretty. That's a lovely mask. Barbxx

Hi Erika,
yes that must have been a mountain of ironing if you watched 2 films.
Still it's all done and dusted now till the next lot. LOL.
What a very fab card, and I love the sparkle medium, and the fab mask you have used to perfection.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
