Am I showing my age range as I typed the title "It's Friday.....I so wanted to put after it....it's 5 o'clock and it's time for Crackerjack! Oh I loved that show on a Friday night as a child. The best bit was the competition with prizes and cabbages. If you are of a certain age you will know exactly what I am talking about. I LOVED that game. Can you imagine kids today getting those prizes or a Crackerjack pen/pencil! LOL. I know mine wouldn't be very impressed, a sad sign of the times!
So it's Friday and it isn't 5 o'clock but it is time to share an oldie with me today. It can be any old crafty project that you have made yourself at some point in the past, the more the merrier. I'd love to see what you have picked to share but in order to do that the only ask I have is to leave a wee comment below. This is purely so I know you are joining in the fun and so I can visit you also and see what you are sharing.
I am sticking with the Christmas theme just now, one thing I do love about the festive season is the food. We always have gingerbread in some form or another, usually biscuits or a house. The boys over the years have enjoyed kits and I have tried also to make from scratch.
This sizzix gingerbread man die is the original red die, I don't think it is made anymore. I do however, still think it is the best one on the market, but I may be a little biased. As for the colour combo when it comes to Christmas you can't beat a little red and white with a touch of kraft.
I have used;
Spellbinder die labels 14
Stamps by Waltzingmouse greetings and gingham.
Sizzix Gingerbread man.
Fiskars edger punch.
The rest from my stash.
I'd like to thank you in anticipation of you joining me today. I do appreciate you joining in the fun with me, all for the love of anything crafty. It only remains for me to wish you all the very best for the coming weekend. It's an early start for me tomorrow in work and probably a quiet day Sunday but then I have the holidays off with my boys, yes, it's that time already "the tattie holidays!"
We had thought of going away but instead are planning some work around the house. Boo!
Still it needs to be done. I'm sure we'll still manage to have some fun and games.

I'll be back again tomorrow with some more crafty quotes, I think I might go and see what tickles my fancy this week!

Hi Erika,
well this is just what I also like about Christmas the food. LOL.
Love your super card, and the very super design.
That gingerbread man looks good enough to eat. LOL.
Wonderful gingham ye! ha! paper too, and it goes so well with kraft card.
Hope you have a wonderful weekend.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
Hi Erika, gorgeous card, I love Gingerbread men, such cute wee guys. In fact, I've got some just now, and I love dipping them into my hot drink, but you wouldn't do that to this little guy on your card. Brilliant oldie, and I've played along too.
Have a fab weekend, Kate x
Hi Erika, and here we are again with an oldie. How the time passes. I love your 'old' gingerbread man with the hearts on his chest. The gingham looks great with kraft card for Christmas, very homely. I also enjoy all the special Christmas food. It's a pleasure to indulge in stuff you don't eat all through the year. Have a great weekend and hope youmanage to get all the jobs done around the house. Barbxx
Well he's a little cutie isn't he? Love the kraft and red gingham combo Erika, just perfect for Christmas cards. I have joined in today, a bit late in the day but here at last. Time is not my friend at the mo or perhaps I'm not as organised as I used to be :/
Have a good weekend.
Lorraine

Sadly haven't had time to blog this week but hope to have an oldie next week. Carol x
