Hook, yarn and giggle.

Good morning and how are you this Saturday?
I am doing a morning shift at work today so have bookmarked this for you.
It's the weekend, time for a little creative smile.
I have been working on my crochet blanket during the evenings, yes I managed to get more wool.
This week therefore has a bit of a crochet feel about it.

This first one made me really smile.  You so need the right size hook for a project.

As for this next one, every project needs chains!

Finally I wanted to point this next quote out.  Did you know that........

Now I know that doesn't sound very exciting or actually very scary/brave.
But how many times have you caught yourself with a needle as you weave in your ends?
Have you also sat on your scissors or poked your eye with the crochet hook?
Who knew crocheting was so dangerous?
It can be touch and go and the pay is terrible!
It's the finished project that makes it all worth it.  Don't you agree?

That's all from me today.
I didn't manage my ironing yesterday so no doubt I shall be doing some of that later again weather dependant.
I have a new toy to play with too but I will tell you more about that another day.
Enjoy your weekend folks whatever your plans, have a good one.

Great funnies. Just been catching up, your strawberry tarts looked divine. Fortunately hubby refers to strawberries as poison berries so I don't have to share, must dust off my apron and get baking again. Glad you got the yarn you needed, loved your watercolouring too. Cara x

Hi Erika,
oh these are so funny.
Yes you are right about those little accidents we all have with our crocheting or knitting, and also crafting, but as you say the end result is all worth it.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
