Wot's on your Work desk Wednesday 148

Hi not a very exciting work desk for you this morning....it's starting to get a little untidy around the edges but as for what I'm working on...mmmm!

I have a pile of stamps in the left hand corner waiting to be played with but before that I have a bespoke card to do.
A very boring desk today for you...to find something much more exciting why not pop on over to Julia's blog and have a wee nosey at other fine crafty spaces....

I will now leave you with a funny a friend sent me today...it made me smile.

Before I go I have candy I am giving away, details on the 1st of April....it closes at midnight tonight so still got a chance to win if you want to enter.
Back to the joke.....

Four Worms in Church

(Four worms and a lesson to be learned !)

A Minister decided that a visual demonstration would add emphasis to his Sunday sermon.

Four worms were placed into four separate jars.

The first worm was put into a container of alcohol.

The second worm was put into a container of cigarette smoke.

The third worm was put into a container of chocolate syrup.

The fourth worm was put into a container of good, clean soil.

At the conclusion of the sermon, the Minister reported the following results:

The first worm in alcohol
... Dead.
The second worm in cigarette smoke ... Dead
The third worm in chocolate syrup
... Dead
The fourth worm in good, clean soil
... Alive .

So the Minister asked the congregation, "What did you learn from this demonstration?"

Maxine was sitting in the back and quickly raised her hand and said,

"As long as you drink, smoke, and eat chocolate, you won't have worms!"

That pretty much ended the service !

Happy WOYWW xxx.

  2. Well Hello up North! Fergus is waving too! He was actually bought right at the top of Scotland along the top road heading West out of Thurso in a tiny wee craft/coffee shop! He has been travelling the world ever since and even has his own scrapbook!

Like your Bird Tag, is that Tim's April one perchance? Not got round to that one myself as yet. Glad your number came up you have made me smile, which is what my husband won't be doing when he gets in if I don't go and put the dinner on - Ho Hum BJ #58
