Did you watch the football last night? My word Brazil got hammered by Germany. Talk about missing their key player. A shocking result.
Yesterday we ended up at Lossiemouth beach with is a five minute drive from us along the coast. On days like today when the weather is fine and the sun is out there is no place I'd rather be. Why would you not enjoy a staycation?
This is the bridge you cross to get to the beach as the river goes under it and around to meet the sea.
This is the view once you get off the bridge. Sand, sand and more sand!
I haven't quite got the hang of my new cameras panoramic setting, bit grainy but it gives you the general idea.
I need to point out how packed the beach is, this was midday!
We walked along with our Rizzi's ice-creams in hand, nomn, nomm. I had apple crumble and rocky road and it was delicious.
Bright blue skies again today so I think I'll be enjoying another walk later along the beach. I just can't make my mind up whether to craft or enjoy the sunshine. I think the sunshine might have to win, because you never know when it is going to change!
Finally today I have a very clean and simple card I was asked to make recently. It had to have a lily on and be very simple with just the wording, Thinking of you.
This is what I came up with....
That's all from me today, I'm away now to enjoy some sunshine. Enjoy the rest of your day. x
Memories, memories, Hazel and I spent 6 weeks camping on this beautiful beach many moons ago. It's beauty has not changed.

Oh as Patricia has already said your beach holds lots of great memories for us both. I could see the folk were packed in like sardines!!! When we where over in Turkey and went on our day trip ending up at a beach , the folk there would have loved the space you had. We wouldn't have our beautiful beaches if we had good weather, as folk would be staying at home to holiday.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the sunshine we don't get enough of it to waste it.
