Good evening folks, a late post from me today.
I have had a busy day finally getting on top of my ironing, time to put the washing machine on again. Vicious circle time!
Look what else I managed to finish.....
I have twelve crocheted poppy's that are ready for dispatch to my lovely friends who ordered them as soon as I posted my attempts on Facebook. I shall be posting them to you first thing Monday morning so that you will get them in time for Remembrance weekend.
All donations will go straight to the British Legion with many thanks for your support. x
Today has been spent removing all the Halloween decorations and tidying around. To be honest I don't know where the day has gone. Between crocheting, ironing and slow roasting a pork joint.....there was my day gone.
My youngest had a great time last night coming home with an obscene amount of treats, thanks to all locally who gave. Needless to say they are now away to be drip fed rather than letting him pig out!
It was a lot quieter this year for us with guisers, only about 15 visits. I had nearer 40 last year!
I think the weather must have put some off.
That is all from me today, not a very exciting post, whoops!
Off to work again tomorrow with a family dine it and some Christmas specials on the cards, we are bound to have a busy day.
Then on Sunday I'm off to Inverness Christmas shopping with my best bud....better have a think between now and then as to what I need to buy. I am so lastminute.com. My pal will have a list. I probably will end up with crafting supplies or yarn! So naughty.
Have a super weekend and more from me on Monday. x
These are just fab Erika! You've done a grand job.

Your Poppies are beautiful Erika, and or such a great cause.
ReplyDeleteWe didn't have anyone at our door last night, pity too we were all prepared, oh well some lollipops for me, have a good weekend, hugs Kate x
Well done you for completing all your Poppy's and a great way to raise funds. I have had to do the same with the girls treats from last night. Moss their collie nearly had the lot as they stupidly left them on the bed room floor.

Your poppies are gorgeous Erika, your crocheting is coming on. It was pretty wet down here and kept the kids indoors but we had a few older boys who did not even attempt to dress up knock the door so they were chased.
