So what does a crafter buy.......when out Christmas shopping?!

Hi folks.
Before I start "Happy Thanksgiving" to all my American friends and British friends living over the pond.  I hope you all have a super time.  x

After a wet and windy walk along the beach this morning is was lovely to be in the warm, a cup of tea in hand, crafting.  Remember I mentioned the lovely lady I visited recently to help guide with card making?
Well, this morning I popped back to see how she had been getting on.
Great would be the first answer and she had a lovely bright new shiny Big shot for me to play with too!
Yikes I think I've another convert to the wonderful world of paper crafts!
And why not, we could be doing far worse!
Card making and crafting is such fun at the best of times but even better to share.
On that note what are you making today?
The dreaded Christmas cards maybe?

I thought I'd share my recent purchases that I bought whilst out and about in Inverness last week.

A 12" deep box frame to make a picture for Christmas, pink wool to crochet a hat for my niece, dishcloth cotton and the basic shape and snaps to make my own crackers for Christmas day.  I do prefer to make my own crackers as you can personalise the gifts inside.  Last time I made them I put in mini bottles of whiskey for the men, handmade jewellery for the ladies and lots of sweets for the children.
I know it isn't a very exciting group of goodies but they'll look much better when I've added a little homemade work to them.  (That's the theory anyway!)
I did notice that Tonic now do a die for a Christmas cracker and got all excited at being able to rattle loads off  till I read the size.  Bless it is a lovely die but it's a wee one!
Come on Spellbinders we would like a cracker die for the Calibur, pretty please with a cherry on top.

That's all I'm afraid from me today, I have dental appointments to go and organise tonight.  Back tomorrow with more.  x

  1. Good evening Erika,
Well, I for one like your selection of goodies. I can see lots of nice projects to be created using them. I do hope you manage to find plenty of "time"...........if you find any extra can you please post it down to me.
I have just converted my sister (Hazel Baskets of Joy)to Paper Crafting and she is loving every minute. She has always done wonderful Gift Baskets, now she is doing the Origami Boxes and believe it or not "cards". She has even posted one on her Blog.....no stopping her now she has a Grand Calibur!!!!

Good luck on the Dental front

I have still got a basket to make for the teachers who order last week, then I have six of our little bags and two more baskets to do by the end of the next week.
