Last but not least in the Stamping techniques class.

Back again, so over the last couple of days we have done inking with Distress inks, today we are adding a second ink and a mask, then splitting the whole thing up!

To create this card I have used stamps from Marion Emberson stamp sets On your special day and Build a tree.  The Spellbinder die is Ribbon tags trio, seam binding coloured with Broken china and Brushed corduroy.  Again I made the mask first and placed on the card and then inked the blue then brown around the edge.  I then removed the mask before stamping the images.  Once finished I cut the whole design in 4 before layering on black card.  I do think adding a second colour makes all the difference and changes the whole mood of the card.

That's all from me today, I'm taking a wee break over the next couple of days to catch up on jobs and do a little research.
If you are in the Elgin area I shall be demonstrating at Papercraft's Boutique a week on Saturday, the 4th of  May between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
