What's on your work desk 173

Morning and it's hump day again and time to share my very own tip which is my crafting space.  Yesterday I made a couple of bespoke cards for friends and I've got one to show you today...but my desk was very much left as was.  Today I will therefore probably be having a quick tidy before starting anything else.  I did try to resist tidying before taking the photo, keeping it real, LOL.

I did warn you.  Still some nice IndigoBlu sentiments stamps there that I picked up in Inverness on Saturday.  Can't wait to play with them.

I thought I'd also share you my fireman card I made yesterday.....my what a big hose he has!

He was made using my Cricut machine and cartridge Dress it up Dolls, with a little tweaking!
I did have some fire I was going to layer him on but he just looked better on his own....less is more.

The lovely Julia hosts this wee look into other crafter's worlds and you can catch up with everyone else here.  I will be back later to have a wander but I must go food shopping first....my youngest boy has told me he is cooking tea tonight and has given me a shopping list.
The mind boggles!  I wonder what it will be like?

  3. What a busy desk! Love your card, it amazes me the sheer variety of things that can be cut on those wee machines. One day I may have one - one day. Enjoy the rest of your WOYWW and hope you enjoy your son's meal :0)

  8. Love it. I think he looks great just by himself with no distractions.

I've come to the conclusion that my work area is always messyish and not much space to craft!

    Hope you enjoyed your tea!

  10. I say anytime the kids want to learn to cook or clean, encourage them! If you play your cards right you'll never have to do domestic chores again.

Love the fireman card! I have some of the Sizzix dress ups and the dolls and they are rather fun. I haven't played with them in a long time. Time to get out the paper dolls!!!

As far as tidying the desk goes, I know what you mean about resisting the urge! As a matter of routine I usually pick up my desk Monday night for the week (I clean house Monday nights) and if not Monday then Tuesday night but I feel like I'm staging for WOYWW Wednesday. Not really! That's how it goes. Now I try to leave some mess or just not touch it like this week.
