So tell me....where did January go.  Is it me or did it go fast?!
On to month two in my 365 calender and as it is the month of LOVE, get out that bucket, I thought I'd go all romantic!
Now those of you who know me know I'm not a "hearty" person.  It is only recently with crafting that I have found myself using more without shying away and I think I have worked out why!

As a child of around about 11 I was allowed to pick my room decor and I chose red love hearts!
It was MY choice, there I have admitted it.
I then had to live with it...I had everything matching, yep I was as bad then as I am now, LOL.
So guess I "overdosed" on red love hearts well into my teenage years and beyond!  That's my excuse anyway.

As explained earlier in my blog this challenge has been set by Kate over on The Kathryn Wheel and loads of other crafty pals are taking part so go on over and see what everyone has done.
I have used:
Paper red and white plus Bo-bunny red spotty
Tattered angels glimmer mist gold and chalkboard strawberry shortcake
White acrylic paint and bubble wrap
Fire brick Ranger distress ink
Chipboard heart as template and cricuit plaintin schoolbook for lettering plus letra set for days of week.
Because of all the hearts and the edging I didn't add anymore stamping around the edging like I had first planned feeling that "less is more" symptom kicking in!
I really enjoyed painted everywhere red and gold!!
That's the only thing with glimmer mists, they're beautiful, but boy they get everywhere, tee hee.

Oh and before I forget here is my January completed too:

Before I shoot today I'd like to big up the wonderful Marlene, go and check out her blog she has been doing some beautiful work of late....not that it isn't always beautiful as it is...but she is on a roll just now!!
She has also had lots of candy to give away of late and woop, woop, I've won the bonus candy??!!!
Thank you very muchly Marlene....cyber hugs heading your way and congratulations to all the other winners.
I'll let you know what it is at a later date....

Now on to this week.  On Saturday I shall be demoing over at The Papeterie in Aberdeen 10 till 4 using Martha Stewart punches, Spellbinder Nestabilities and Hero Art stamps.  First one of the year!
Better crack on as got a fab parcel from Personal Impressions last night with lots of yummy stash to play with.
Better try and get in tune with those creative juices...now where did I put them?!
Happy crafting!
