Yet more stamping and not of my feet!

Hi guys and it's our first weekend of the school summer holidays in Scotland, yippee!  What will we get up to today....that is the question!
Whilst I am busy having fun with my boys I thought I'd share this 8" card with you.  It's another stamping technique card and is again simple to achieve.

For this card I've used Spellbinder dies Grand Scalloped squares and Shapeabilities ribbon tags.  The stamps are Marion Emberson Birthday Kisses and Find joy everyday.  The gingham card is from the Nitwit range and ribbon from my stash.

This simple stamping technique is done on one square of paper and then you cut the card down into squares once finished.  It is then a case of just matting and layering together.  Simples!
Less is more or so I'm told.
I like the effect of these cards and four squares are quite easy to put together but be warned the more squares you cut up the harder to space them.  Well, that's what I find anyway.

I hope you are all having a good weekend.

Simple stamping techniques.

Back again and today simple stamping techniques using masking and layering.

For this card I have used Stamps from Marion Emberson Birds and trees, It's all in the words, Love story script and Just because.  I have used Archival black and Distress ink Fired brick and the Spellbinder die is Teardrop circles.  The button is from my stash.

I first stamped the black frame and created a mask for it, covering it, then made another outer mask before stamping with the red and script background stamp.  To finish I added the leaves and sentiment then the flower and threaded button.

Today my eldest has his end of term parade so I'm off to watch that this afternoon, the forcast is rain, rain and more rain so please pray for sunshine.  It ain't much fun on parade when it's raining and it's even less fun getting wet watching.

Sugar bowl challenge time again...no. 87

It's that time again and today it is the lovely Fiona's sketch over on the Sugar Bowl challenge with the theme "flower power!"
Here is my take on Fiona's sketch....

And the sketch....

For this card I have paper by MME Honey cake, Sugar Nellie image Pippi Longsocks, punches by SU and dollie coloured with distress ink Fired brick.  Pippi is coloured using Copic markers and Stickles diamond.

Up for grabs for one entry choosen at random are 4 of your choice SN rubber stamps which increases to 6 if we get more than 100 entries.  You can enter as many times as you wish but must use a SN image.

This card was made for my Sugar mate Elaine on her recent birthday as I know this is one of her favourite stamps, the colours well they're my favourite, I love turquoise and red together.

Have a super Thurday and it only remains for me to say you've got to be in it to win it, have fun with the sketch, I did.  Thanks Fiona for a good one.  x

Kraft part two.

Hi everyone and it's Wednesday again.  Normally I would be popping over to see Julia and joining in with What's on your work desk Wednesday but today I am busy getting everything sorted and ready for the end of term tomorrow.  It's my last couple of days of freedom before the school holidays start....so much to do so little time!  It would therefore be unfair to to WOYWW as I wouldn't be popping over to other crafters blogs.
Today I thought I'd share with you another Kraft card.

For this card I have again used White Staz On together with stamp sets Punchable tags, labels and Mix and Match sentiments by Paula Pascual.  I have used Spellbinder nestabilities labels 8 and Shapeabilites Grommet tags.  Finally I have added Stickles diamond, eyelets and ribbon from my stash.

Today I have a couple more pictures to finish and a whole load of housework to do.  Still on the up side it is dreich outside so a perfect day for it.  Enjoy your Wednesday.  x

Crafting with Kraft!

Today I shall be mostly crafting with Kraft!  This is another simple card but this time using kraft card with White Staz On.

Sorry the photo is not the best quality that I'm afraid is down to the operator....me!
I have used Spellbinder nestabilities Labels Fifteen, Classic circles and Classic Scalloped circles.  I have stamped on to craft and acetate with white Staz on using stamp sets Circle tags by Paula Pascual and Flourishes by Marion Emberson.  Finally I have layered on white card added pearls and a bow from my stash.
This is another to add to my less is more approach.

Today I am hoping to finish off my teachers gifts and cards.

Then I have a funeral later today of one of my crafting buddies who will be sadly missed.

More stamping but taking it nice and easy!

Hi folks Monday again and last week of school for my boys....oh no and I've got so much I want to get done...every year I know it is coming but it still sneaks up, bit like Christmas!
Today I have more stamping for you and again this was inspired by the lovely Paula Pascual and her stamp set Simple Flowers.

I have also used Hero arts stamps Very Special, Spellbinder nestabilities classic circles and classic circle scalloped.  To colour I have used Distress markers Broken china and Walnut stain, with finally glossy accents and bling from stash.

A simple card with all the work just in the flowers.  The fun part is deciding where to put them all!

After speaking with my eldest boy he has informed me that he has another couple of teachers he'd like gifts for so better get my thinking hat on today.
First I have a couple more cards to finish.
Have a super Monday, back tomorrow.

SOS end of term crafty ideas

Hi folks another Sunday and today it's my local village crop and guess what I'm going in an hour and having started packing yet!  What will I do?  Move quickly for a start.

Over on the Sugar Nellie blog todays Share on Sunday or SOS is teachers gifts.  I thought I was being really good starting mine over a fortnight ago, at last I'm more organised but I've got no further and it is back to the mad dash that is the end of term.  Why not pop over to SN and see what Karen has picked out for you, I love them all mind you I have it on good authority from teaching friends that a bottle of wine would be the preferred gift!  Hick!
Here are my couple of choices to add.....

These are from here.  A nice simple idea done well and you can always add alcohol!
How about these...

From here.  I spy Hershey kisses and we can now finally get them in this country it's just a pity they are not filled with Cadbury chocolate....I love the kisses idea but the chocolate is burgh!
The pencil idea is pretty neat don't you think?

Personally I like to send something handmade to the teachers and then add a nice bottle of vino with it and of course a card.  So today at the crop I will mostly be doing teachers gifts and cards if I can get myself organised in 1/2 an hour.
Why not pop over to the Sugar Nellie blog and see what other SOS Pinterest ideas folk have come up with.  I'm now away to run around like a mad woman, have a great day.  x

Stamping part 3 Distressed is the word.

Hi folks and the weekend is here, whoop, whoop and no work for me today.  I thought I'd share a wee bit more stamping using my Distress markers direct to the stamp.  Did I mention that this is my favourite technique with the new Distress markers?

For this card I have used stamps by Paula Pascual Punchable tags together with Distress markers Walnut stain, Peeled paint and Broken china.  I have used Spellbinder Nestabilities Petite ovals small and Edgeabilities Classic triple scallop together with paper from American craft and bling from my stash.

I love these tags, they're so much fun to play with and there is also an EK success punch to match but I cut by hand.  The beauty of using the Distress markers is that you have direct control over where you place the colour and the pens do not get contaminated if touching, a quick breath over the stamp and you are ready to go.

I don't know what is planned for today...a bit of baking for tomorrow's crop and a BBQ my boys are attending, a bit of housework and maybe some crafting.  Let's just see what the day brings!

A little more stamping!

Hi back again and another stamping card today.....

For this card I have again used Paula Pascual stamps "Simple Flowers" together with the sentiment stamp from Marion Emberson "Sunshine and flowers".  The coloured card is by American craft and I have matched that with Distress inks Seedless preserve and Crushed olive.  Finally I have used Spellbinder nestabilities dies Classic circles and Scalloped Classic circles finishing with a wee bit of bling.

Today I shall be mostly ploughing through my list of cards to do but it's also come to that time of the week to get in a little food...the cupboards are bare!
There is a school picnic at lunch-time with a walk to the next village...weather permitting.  The forecast isn't great but we will have to wait and see if it goes ahead.  The weather can be funny up here as we don't always get what is forecast, I am convinced we have our own little climate but as long as it is dry and warmish I'll be happy.
After school I've also got my friends little boy for the evening and judo classes to attend.
I think today is going to be a busy one!
Enjoy your Friday and more from me tomorrow.

A little bit if stamping

Hi folks, where is this week going?  Thursday already!  The bike ride went well yesterday and I have the sore bits today to prove it, and that's all I'm going to say about that...anymore would be classed as TOO much information!
Today I want to share some stamping with you and this card was inspired by the lovely Paula Pascual and her wonderful stamps supplied by Personal Impressions.

The stamps I have used are Paula Pascual Square tags and Punchable labels together with Marion Emberson Find joy everyday.  The paper is by American craft, the ink Archival black and Distress Seedless preserve and finally bling from my stash.

This again was a popular card at the weekend repeated in different colour ways.  The squares were just cut from the stamp edges although their is a EK punch that matches them or you could indeed use your Spellbinder dies.

That's all from me today, it's open day at school this afternoon and a picnic tomorrow so I'm away to crack on with more of my orders....I'm about 1/2 way through...not the fastest crafter in the west!  Have a good Thursday and more from me tomorrow.

What's on your Work desk Wednesday 159

It's hump day again and time for a little nosey around cyber land work space....this week I have no demonstrations so I am spending the week catching up on some bespoke card orders.

It doesn't get any tidier does it?  I've got a wedding and anniversary card nearly finished and a whole heap of demo cards to add finishing touches to before forwarding to my boss for more PI samples.  Then more bespoke cards which I really want to finish before the kids break up for the summer holidays at the end of next week.  Can you believe it's that time already?  Limited crafty time full steam ahead!

Our fine host of WOYWW is the lovely Julia and you can get more information and check out other blogs by hopping over to her place.  It only remains for me to say thank you for popping by today and I'll leave you with this e-mail that my dad sent his Grandson....

The computer swallowed grandpa.
Yes, honestly its true!
He pressed 'control and 'enter'
And disappeared from view.
It devoured him completely,
The thought just makes me squirm.
He must have caught a virus,
Or been eaten by a worm.
I've searched through the recycle bin
And files of every kind;
I've even used the Internet,
But nothing did I find.

In desperation, I asked Jeeves
My searches to refine.
The reply from him was negative,
Not a thing was found 'online.'
So, if inside your 'Inbox,'
My Grandpa you should see,
Please 'Copy, Scan' and 'Paste' him
And send him back to me.

I thought I would add that no Grandpa's were injured during the above poem!
I'm now off for a bike ride with the school P4-7 for fitness week, I hope the rain stays away and I pedal fast.  Have a great Wednesday.  x

The revenge of the Spellbinders....

Part three in the revenge of the Spellbinder dies and today I have a purple and white card for you, again using lovely Spellbinder products.

For this card I have used Nestabilities dies....Classic Square, Classic Square scalloped and Classic circles, then Shapeabilities dies Fancy tags and Parisian Accents and finally M-Bossibilities Flower fun.  The stamp set is by Paula Pascual Circle tags by PI and bling from my stash.

This was a popular card on Saturday I think I made it in at least three different colours.  Paula's stamps work fabulously with the dies.  I cut the fancy tag down to fit behind the Parisian accent tag.
More from me again tomorrow with What's on your work desk Wednesday and I think we'll follow that on Thursday with a bit more stamping.

I'll put another Spell on you!

Hi folks and it's Monday again and today I want to share the next of my cards from the weekend at Oldmeldrum and it's another Spellbinder for you!  Sorry for the puns but it's got to be done.

The photo is a bit squint today too, that's my great powers of photography, not!

So for this card I have used Spellbinder dies;  Shapeabilities Lattice Motifs and Fancy tags 2 together with Nestabilities Petite Ovals small and Labels fourteen.  The stamp is from Hero Arts Very special and bling from my stash.

Did I mention I love using black and white with Spellbinders?  I'm sure I must have.  I just think the simplicity of the colours works so well with the fancy dies.  A sort of less is more approach to building up Spellbinder dies together.  I find all that is required then is some lovely sentiment stamps and either a few pearls or bling, job done!

That's all for today folks, more tomorrow, I'm away to catch up on jobs and some card orders, have a good Monday.  x

Time for Share on Sunday

Hi folks and I'd like to start today by thanking all the lovely ladies who made my trip to Creative Flourish in Oldmeldrum so enjoyable yesterday.  I had a great day demonstrating fine crafting products and sharing a hints and tips, then to top the day off I had a lovely cuppa and cupcake, yum.  What better way to share a dreich Saturday in June!

Before I share more of what we got up to yesterday today is SOS day over at the Sugar Nellie blog.  This means we therefore share something that inspires us from over at Pinterest.  Today Karen is talking recycling so this is what took my fancy.....

I love this recycled kitchen....

Just up my street, very rustic.  Loving the cupboards next to the stainless steel.  From here.
How about this for the outside space.......if only we had the weather!  From here.

Loving that chair and has got to be slightly more comfortable than this one.....

Very interesting but I don't think I would want to sit on it for long periods of time.

So many fabulous ideas on Pinterest now just to find the time to make a few changes at home, LOL.

That's all from me today, I'm away to tackle a wonderful task....my ironing basket whilst my boys are out go-karting....exciting times.  If I'm good and get it all done quickly I might get chance to do a little crafting.
To all you fathers out in cyberland including mine....HAPPY FATHER'S DAY...have a good one.

Saturday, June 16, 2012

Demo day is here so here's what I am up to.

Today I shall mostly be demonstrating at Creative Flourish in Oldmeldrum and this is what I shall be up to.

This spellbinder card is made using dies;   Nestabilities Fleur de lis squares, Labels Twenty four, Labels Twenty five and Shapeabilities Fancy tags two.  The sentiment are from Hero Arts "Very Special" and "Anytime messages."  The bling is from my stash.

Hopefully it will be a busy day I will give you all the news tomorrow.  It only remains for me to say have a great weekend, it looks like more rain is forecast so you know what that means......more time to craft!

Have a good one.  x

Hi everyone and it's that time again....I can't believe it's a fortnight since last time...doesn't time fly when you're having fun!
Here is my card for this Sugar bowl...

And the sketch...

The sketch this time is provided by the lovely Maria with the added challenge of "one for the boys!"
I have used Nathan from Sugar Nellie together with papers from MME and the sentiment stamp is one of Tim Holtz.  Nathan is coloured using copics and the lace and brads are from my stash.

Up for grabs for 1 lucky winner is your choice of 4 Sugar Nellie stamps which jumps up to 6 if we have more than 100 entries and you can enter more than once....just make sure it's a Sugar Nellie image you use.

It only remains for me to wish you good luck and happy crafting.  x

Whats on your Workdesk Wednesday 158

It's that time again and we are sharing what is on our work desk.  I have a few things going on today......want to see?

I have some new stamps and Spellbinders to play with for this coming weekends demo in a new craft shop in Oldmeldrum, exciting times, plus a couple of pictures I am in the process of making.
The pictures are teachers gifts ready for the end of term.  The words say, "Teachers cannot live by apples alone!"
I intend to give them to my youngest sons teachers together with a little something else.
Now to think of what to do for my eldest sons teachers!
I also have a Sugar Nellie stamp waiting for some ink and a rather large Archival ink pad!

So what are you up to this Wednesday....you can check out other blogs via the lovely Julia's place...the hostess with the mostest!

It only remains for me to say enjoy your "hump" day and thanks for popping by.

What no crafts?

I folks I have nothing to show you today...I have a couple of projects not yet finished yet and a long list of bespoke cards to make so I need to crack on.

This morning it was my youngest boy's school sports day, great fun was had by all.  My youngest has it sussed when he came in for lunch saying "it's the taking part that counts mum!"
That said, I was roped into the mum's race and the tug of war...the things you do!
Still I don't think I did too bad with a 3rd in the mum's and the winning team in the tug of war....competitive mum syndrome.  I was brought up to give everything your best shot.
I won't mention the lie down once home and the need of two cups of tea to come round...I think oxygen at the end for the adults rather than badges would have been more appropriate, LOL.
Still that's it done for another year, with a tum full of lunch I can now get some work done.
Once I've got that under my belt a quick tidy is in order before WOYWW tomorrow.

Have a great Tuesday.

Monday, June 11, 2012

Monday, Monday.....craft time!

Kids at school, hubby to work time to craft!  Actually before I get all creative I need to pop and do some food shopping.  I have been trying to eat healthy this week and boy have I gone through salad and fresh fruit!  I wonder how long it will last before I give in to some CAKE!

Back to the crafting and I have another telescopic card for you.

Closed

Open

For this I've used Spellbinder Nestabilities labels 1, stamp sets from Marion Emberson and Hero arts as per previous postings.  I have also used Distress pens Broken china, Peeled paint and Walnut stain with ink pad Peacock feathers.

I think these cards are great fun to make but remember the bottom two parts are better flat as the movement is more fluid and when putting together the middle layer goes upside down.

That is all for today, I am running out of things to show you just now but have another demo this coming weekend at a NEW craft shop in Oldmeldrum just outside Aberdeen.  More on that later this week.

Finally I'd like to give out a huge TOOT, TOOT, to the lovely Liz who awarded me this yesterday.

"The origins of the Liebster Blog Award are somewhat unclear but the general consensus is that it originated in Germany, Liebster meaning favourite or dearest, to showcase bloggers with fewer than 200 followers. Upon accepting the award the recipient must then pass it on to five more blogs of note."
Here's what to do on receiving your Award
1. Thank your Liebster Blog Award presenter on your blog.
2. Link back to the blogger who presented the award to you.
3. Copy and paste their blog award on your blog.
4. Present the Liebster Blog award to 5 blogs of 200 followers or less who you feel deserve recognition.
5. Let them know they have been chosen by leaving a comment at their blog.

I am made up thank you Liz for thinking of me and I would now like to pass this on to.....

SOS time in Sugarland

Hi all, well we haven't gone hiking today as planned but spent the morning at rugby instead.  My wee man changed his mind and when he does that there is no way you can change it back....I wonder where he gets his stubborn streak from?

Back to the day in hand and over on the Sugar Nellie blog Karen is running SOS...Share on Sunday.  The idea being you share something you have found on Pinterest that inspires you.  Today I am again looking at the home as Karen is setting up her new business in Aberdeen.  Here is my pic for today....

I have the paint waiting at the Sew Room at Alford for me to pick up hopefully in the next couple of weeks as I would love to get my kitchen looking a little distressed like this.   All the jars, glasses and baskets are fab too.  In fact I'm just loving this style, it's just finding the time to have a play...over the holidays is looking good weather dependant of course.  Better get in there before the mad rush of demonstrations in the run up to Christmas....my first being the 11th of August!

That's all for me this Sunday I'm away to maybe bake or craft....I haven't yet made up my mind.
Enjoy what is left of your weekend.

Make a wish!

Well the weekend has come around again but what do you wish for?
Mmm, where do I start!

And inside...

For this card I have used Spellbinder Nestibilities classic circle and Shapeabilities Fancy tags together with PI stamp set Make a wish.  The paper is MME 6" pad Honey cake, Stickles are Diamond and pearls from my stash.
I'm loving this style of card, by just cutting half of the die it gives the card a whole new look.

I don't know what I am going to be doing today as yet I have no plans but I will have a little helper no matter what so it should be fun.  I wonder if I can persuade him to craft or bake?
Have a great Saturday.  x

Ventriloquist Paul Zerdin on Late Night with Jerry Springer

My eldest son sent me a clip of this Ventriloquist earlier this week and I thought it was so funny I had to share it...a wee smile to take you into the weekend.  x

Where has the sunshine gone?

Today in Scotland the weather is most definitely dreich...drizzly, wet, cloudy and miserable but on the upside you know what that means.....time for some crafting!  Every cloud has a silver lining.
At the moment my craft space again looks like a bomb has gone off but this is usually a good sign as it means creativity is here and I really can't be bothered to tidy as I go 'cause I'm having too much fun.

When I started card making my local shop happily took in some cards to sell on my behalf, however since starting demonstrating they have been neglected.  Over the last couple of days I have been making new stock for them and have really enjoyed going back in time...why, well I can make whatever I please...how much fun has that been!  Anyway whilst I beaver on today with that, a couple of orders and my next sample for the Sugar Bowl I thought I'd leave you with this simple card.

The recipe for this card is MME 6" pad Everyday flair, Spellbinder M-bossibilities Patchwork and Shapeabilities Damask Motifs.

When I first got my pack of Damask motifs I did look at them and think mmmm, now what will I do with you, mind you I have found them lots of fun to play with and great little accents to cards.

That's all from me today.  I hope the weather is better with you and if not, that it improves over the weekend.
My youngest and I are hiking on Sunday....yes you heard me correctly, hiking!
Oh my I can feel a sore body alert!

Boxing clever!

Hi folks late post for me today but here goes...today I thought I'd share a pillar box I have made using the template from here together with Spellbinder dies.

I have used Spellbinder dies....Nestabilities Labels Twenty-five plus Shapeabilities dies Foliage, Bauble blossom 1 and Fancy tags.  The stamp is by Hero arts, Any time messages, Acetate by PI and the bling is from my stash.

I do love pillar boxes don't ask me why 'cause I don't have an answer.  Guess it's because they're easy to knock up.

That's all from me today, short and sweet as I have some card orders mounting up so I really must get my brain into gear and get creative.
Have a great Thursday and I'll be back tomorrow.

Teachers gifts.

Today I thought I'd share the finished teachers gifts I made this year.  If you follow my blog you will have seen a sneak preview of these canvasses on a What's on your work desk Wednesday if not here it is completed.

These canvasses are from my local craft shop and are 6" in size.  I have painted the frame white then sanded and added Distress ink Vintage photo to give a shabby effect, the canvas is Distress stain Fired brick.  The gingham paper is from Kanban and the apple is a Sizzix die.  "Teachers cannot live by apples alone!" was printed on my computer.  These little frames went together with a bottle of wine and tag saying "Grapes help too!"

I have it on good authority from teacher I know that wine is a firm favourite over smellies and candles and a fine start to the school holidays!

What's on your workdesk 157

Today is my mums birthday so before I'd start I'd just like to wish her all the best.

Now I thought I'd do something a wee different today, but first I'd like to show you my ATC that I sent to the lovely Rita last Wednesday for our 3rd Anniversary swap.

The front and the back.

I really enjoyed making this my first ATC and I used stamps by Marion Emberson together with Spellbinder die Labels 8 and Distress stains.

Moving on....yesterday my wee man had a day off school so rather than showing you my work desk as I can't get near it, I thought I'd share our work space.
We got up to a wee bit of crafting together.

And mine....

A little decoupaging together.
My son is covering a C with camouflage napkins and I am covering a pig with orange tissue paper ready to turn it in to a Harley biker pig or HOG for Father's day.  These are great little projects to do with kids and hopefully I will get to show you the finished articles next week.

Pop along to the lovely Julia's blog to see what other like minded crafters are up to this week.

Finally I have been asked if I can post this as the Sugar Nellie team are looking for new Design members, if you are interested the details are below....

It only remains for me to wish you all a very happy Wednesday and thanks for popping on over.  x

Happy Diamond Jubilee

Today's the day!
Happy Diamond Jubilee to the Queen.
If you were not aware of this occasion where have you been the last couple of weeks?!

This poster can be found here.

Time for tea and cakes!  Like I ever need an excuse!
Are you dressing in red, white and blue and ready for the days activities?  If so have a good one.

I didn't have anything done in red, white and blue as I have been having far too much fun out and about at picnics and parties this weekend.  Well it would be rude not too!
I thought I'd share this wee box instead as it does covers two of the above colours.

For this box I have used Spellbinder Square Bracket edged box die together with Shapeabilities dies Spiral blossoms 1 and foliage.  The paper is by MME 6" pad Honey cake, bling from my stash.
A quick and easy gift box.

That's all for me today have a good one and I'll be back tomorrow with WOYWW.

And there's more Spellbinders for you.

Hi everyone that's Monday back around again, doesn't time fly when you are having fun?!
Up here in the North of Scotland it is not a bank holiday so the kids are at school but then they have tomorrow off for the Jubilee.  My youngest has gone to school donned in Union Jacks today as at lunch they're having a big Jubilee picnic on the playing fields.
I can't believe the weather we have had this weekend and today it looks set to continue, bright blue skies and the sun is shining.  It is most unlike us to be having such good weather when the south as wind and rain, especially with holiday tomorrow.  Usually the word Bank holiday is followed with wind and rain!
I'm not knocking it, a nice sunny day certainly brightens the mood.

Moving on and we're still working with Spellbinders.....

For this card I have used Spellbinder Grand Dahlia nestabilities, Shapeabilities die Lace Doily Motif, Nestabilities dies; Labels one, Labels twenty five, Classic circle and Beaded ovals.
The sentiment is by Marion Emberson It's all in the words and the pearls are from my stash.  The textured card is by American Craft and the spotty paper is MME.

More layering again today, well it's so much fun finding out which dies work well together.

Today I am away to cover my grey and then stock up my kitchen cupboards, then hopefully later I might slip in a little crafting.  Have a great day.

Spellbinder layering.....bring it on!

Hi, I had a lovely picnic yesterday and the sun was out shining....in the North of Scotland!  A quieter day is planned today with some chores....I have a man mountain of ironing and maybe a little crafting later if I'm lucky but I think the garden might need some attention if this weather keeps up.

Whilst I'm pottering about I thought I'd share this card with you.

For this card I have used Spellbinder Grand Labels twenty three, Nestabilities Labels twenty five and Shapeabilities Lattice motifs.  The sentiment is Marion Emberson It's all in the words and I've used Distress ink Shaded Lilac.  The seam binding and pearls are from my own stash and the textured card is by American Craft.
More fun layering the Spellbinder dies together...they all work so well together.  I have used Labels twenty five to create a frame and layered Lattice motifs with different layers of 3d foam to create a curved effect too.  This isn't picked up too well with the photograph but it had a definite curve to it!

Have a super Sunday and I'll be back again soon.

White on white!

Today I am off on a picnic so pray for a sunny day just like yesterday.
Before I go I wanted to share this with you....especially for my blog friend Ali who is the master of WOW cards in my eyes.  This was done with you in mind my dear!  ;)

For this card I have used Spellbinder M-Bossibilities Hearts together with Nestabilities Beaded ovals, Classic circles and Labels Twenty four.  Two frames of labels 24 have been threaded together which is inspired by the very talented Sue Wilson.  I have added pearls and satin ribbon from my own stash and the sentiment stamp is again by Marion Emberson.

I finally admit to overcoming my fear of doing WOW cards....I think I quite like them.  Ali you may have started a bit of a trend here.

That's all from me today, have a fabulous weekend especially if you are out and about joined in with the Jubilee celebrations.

Final class sample.

It's Friday again!  How did that happen, this week has flown.  I had a lovely day yesterday.  I'd like to thank my crafting buddies for the beautiful cards and presents I recieved yesterday and for all the well wishes.  A very lazy day was had with lots of chatting and cups of tea.

Today I wanted to show you the last of my class cards from the weekend...another Spellbinding moment!

For this card I have used Spellbinder M-Bossabilities Patchwork, Nestabilities dies Beaded Ovals, Labels twenty four, Labels 8 and Shapeabilities Fancy tags.  The sentiment is from Marion Emberson and pearls from my stash.

So what are you getting up to this Jubilee weekend?  My other half is working so my youngest and I have a village picnic on the green to attend...get out your sausage rolls and cake!  Guess that means that today I shall be baking but what?  Muffins, cupcakes, flapjack or gingerbread men?  Decisions, decisions....I'm sure I'll have a little helper too after school.  No work for me this weekend so praying for sunshine especially for the picnic.
Have a good one whatever you are up to.  x
